Enteroscopy:

Enteroscopy

Not long ago, the small intestine was an unexplored frontier in GI endoscopy. New developments in enteroscopes have opened up this region of the GI tract but it remains a difficult organ to access. Small bowel enteroscopy is a technically challenging procedure often requiring much time.

The Endo-Ease® Endoluminal Advancement System is a significant innovation in flexible GI endoscopy. This revolutionary over-tube system enables physicians to perform flexible endoscopy procedures more efficiently.

Antegrade enteroscopic introduction with the Endo-Ease Discovery SB helps to advance compatible enteroscopes beyond to Ligament of Treitz – the fixed portion of small bowel within the abdominal cavity. Rotation of the Discovery SB beyond the Ligament of Treitz, allows a spiral to pleat the segment of the small bowel where disease is most commonly found.

The Endo-Ease Discovery SB lets you independently maneuver the enteroscope if needed while it remains in place.

The Endo-Ease Discovery SB can be paired with your existing enteroscopes measuring up to 9.4mm OD. The product is a single use device sterilized for convenience and safety.
